Do you have a data management success story, a hard-learned lesson, or a deep dive into an emerging trend that the Vancouver data community needs to hear?

DAMA Vancouver is officially opening our 2026 Call for Speakers!

As the premier organization for data management professionals in British Columbia, our mission is to provide our members with high-quality, vendor-neutral education that aligns with the DAMA-DMBOK2 framework. We are looking for practitioners, leaders, and visionaries to lead our upcoming monthly sessions, workshops, and webinars.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking presentations that go beyond theory. Our members value practical applications, case studies, and technical deep-dives. Potential topics include (but are not limited to):

• Data Governance & Ethics: Navigating AI regulations and BC’s privacy landscape.

• Modern Data Architecture: Real-world implementations of Data Mesh, Fabric, or Lakehouses.

• Data Quality & Metadata: Automation strategies and building "AI-ready" data foundations.

• Master Data Management: Solving the "Single View of the Customer" in complex environments.

• CDMP Success Stories: How DAMA certification has transformed your team's operations.

Submission Details

To be considered, please submit your proposal through our form. You will need to provide:

• A brief professional bio.

• A session abstract (200–300 words).

• Your preferred delivery format (In-person Downtown Vancouver or Virtual).

Submission Deadlines

• For Q1/Q2 Sessions: Please submit by March 15th, 2026.

• For Q3/Q4 Sessions: Submissions remain open on a rolling basis.

Note: DAMA Vancouver is a non-profit organization focused on education. Sessions must be educational in nature and strictly non-commercial.
