DAMA Vancouver was launched in 2020 as a chapter of DAMA International. The chapter operates in affiliation with DAMA International and numerous chapters worldwide.

The Data Administration Management Association (DAMA) International and the chapter DAMA Vancouver are not-for-profit, vendor-independent, professional organizations dedicated to advancing the concepts and practices of enterprise information and data management, business intelligence, analytics, data science and related disciplines.
