3rd Annual DAMA Days Canada in Vancouver - Wed Oct 23rd

Good morning.

Please join us for our 3rd annual DAMA Days Canada conference in Vancouver. Site scheduling constraints again limit us to one day, so we are packing that one day full of presentations by international data luminaries, local data stars, as well as the chance to network with Vancouver's data community. Please note that the fully catered event is in-person only with no virtual option and the presentation recordings will only be available to registrants.

09:00 Context is Next - a timely keynote applicable to AI, DG, and Analytics presented by K. Waterman - CEO of Tcomplete Canada Inc, Visiting Scientist (MIT), Entrepreneurial Consultant (UVic).
10:00 Metadata Empowers Data Citizens - Carine Botturi, Director of Data Strategy at TELUS, will share lessons learned and practical advice on how a strong metadata management practice will empower any organisation.
11:00 Data Architecture Supporting Data Quality by Mark Horseman, Data Evangelist at DataVersity. Making a cloud-based data warehouse the central point in a data quality program can overcome challenges.

This is an in-person event with no virtual option.
The recordings and slide decks from all presentations at all 4 chapters participating this year will be available after a week or so.
